The waters around Jersey and the Gulf of St. Malo offer an ideal base for day cruises and for visiting yachtsmen – many ports can be reached within a single tide.

Moorings can easily be found in coves and bays on the north and south coasts, but Customs and Immigration formalities can only be completed at Gorey or St. Helier Harbours.

The St. Helier Marina is close to the centre of town. The island’s 600-berth Elizabeth Marina opened in 1998. Berths are available for non-residents on one, five and 10 year leases. For more information on leases please telephone 01534 885588.

There are two yacht clubs on the Island – The Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club in St. Aubin (Tel. 01534 741023) and The St. Helier Yacht Club in St. Helier (Tel. 01534 721307).
Both clubs welcome visiting yachtsmen.
